We must open our minds as well as our hearts. I've been doing much research on illnesses that may be caused by environmental factors such as toxic mold or other indoor air contaminants. Through our own poisoning we lost our health. It's a miracle we're either aIive. However, I feel there is always a reason why things happen. The blessing in all this is the wonderful people we've met and the opportunity to help others. Nothing has touched our hearts more than hearing of another a sick child.

This has been a journey we never imagined losing health, home and worldly possessions. The only blessing in this tragedy is the calling God has put on our lives to help others. We recently met with Governor Sonny Perdue who signed a state proclamation warning Georgians of serious health issues related to mold and mycotoxins; from a simple allergy to organ failure to brain and central nervous system damage to infection, toxicity, cancer and even death among other illnesses.

He also advised people how important it is to handle a moldy environment by EPA approved guidelines. I've been blest to become friends with a credible and most compassionate man who has corrected poor indoor air quality and infectious disease control for 30 plus years. He has spoken before Congress and helped army bases, hospitals, schools and sick children. He wrote a wonderful book sharing just a few of his experiences. Both my husband, Tlee, and I cried when we read of both the tragedies and miracles.

I realized my friend has personally witnessed children diagnosed with autism and other illnesses get well. In fact, were these cases truly autism? Or are our children sometimes being wrongly diagnosed? This really made me stop and think and here is one reason why. Our diagnoses of T2 poisoning and mycotoxicosis was caused from invisible poisons produced in our home by a number of molds.

A girl we met locally with the same illness we have went with me to have a test called live blood cell analyses. You could actually see a picture of our live blood cells on a tv screen from blood samples they had just taken. As we were both talking to the nurse, she went and got a doctor, as she was rather amazed at what was on the screen. She pointed to our cells and stated most of our cells were dormant. She showed us the few live cells which were active and moving around.

Most of our cells were clumped together and hardly moving at all. She said "Something really weird is going on in your blood. The only other people we've seen anything like this is in those who are autistic". That was a couple of years ago, but I never forgot the statement and I've often wonvered

The autistic miracle and many others shared in Breathing Dangerously made me realize even moreso than before: a safe and mold free environment is vital for healing to take place.

Mycotoxins are "poisons" or "toxins" produced by various molds. Again,they can severely affect the brain and central nervous system, as well as any other organ in the body. They invade our blood cells to the point our cells cannot regenerate. Think about it. Inhaling, ingesting or absorbing toxins is so dangerous. I mean, Saddam killed 1000's with mycotoxins.

Also, if an expectant mother has been exposed to mycotoxins and these poisons or molds are systemically residing in her blood, tissues or cells..as in our case and thousands like us..does it not make sense they could be passed on to that unborn child? The saying "this is my own flesh and blood" takes on a whole new meaning when I think about this.

I am certainly not medically qualified to answer the questions I brought up. But I am fully qualified to ask the question when I see the alarming statistics of autistic children as well as thousands of children dying from toxic mold; All of this is just is astounding to me.

Can autistic be changed to artistic? We have to try to stop the suffering. Sometimes the walls between us can hide reality of chains that hold us captive and truths that set us free.
Our only goal is to educate others. Explore all the possiblities. Either prove them or disprove them. We have lived this toxic nightmare and sometimes we are confused, have slurred speech and cannot even put a sentence together or think clearly at all. It is so sad to see all the suffering continue. Even in this research article below and case studies they found high levels of mold in children. Please contact me if you want more information on this book of true stories and children being made healthy. If you have any possibilty of being in a mold contaminated home or school environment, don't take a chance. Remember molds and the mycotoxins they produce can be hidden from the naked eye.
