Be part of my report?

So I am seeking out families who have had their own horror stories with their school districts against their autistic or special needs children.

Do you have an IEP that’s ignored? Does your school try to dismiss medical diagnosis? Has your child been arrested, charged, or even just taken away by police? Have staff at the school demonstrated lack of knowledge or concern for your child’s needs? Do they tell your child to just “be normal”? And lets not forget these: Does the school over use restraint or seclusion?

I think you get the idea. If you have one of these situations, now or ever in the last few years, I want to know. I am forming a report for legislators and more and need real families with real situations to show them.

If you are interested in being part of this report I need a few things from you and you can privately message me on them. I need your name, your child’s name and age, the school in question and details of at least one serious incident. Feel free to share as much info about your experiences as you can. This is not for a blog or public use. It is for the people of legislature that I am writing the report for.
